EDO NSW represents individuals and community groups in public interest litigation to protect the environment
EDO NSW provides free initial telephone advice and, if appropriate, written advice on environmental law and policy.
We also represent individuals and community organisations in public interest court action to protect the environment. This means the case will have implications for the broader community and not just the individual or group taking the court action.
Representation includes activities such as providing detailed written legal advice on your particular issue, writing letters on your behalf and, in some cases, undertaking court action. However we have strict guidelines which cover the types of case we can take on.
To determine whether EDO NSW can act as your solicitors, read more about these guidelines in the "When We Can" Help section in the orange box on the right-hand-side of this page.
