    The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking public submissions on a draft plan of management for New England National Park, Baalijin Nature Reserve and Jobs Mountain Nature Reserve.

    The parks are located on the edge of the Great Escarpment, about 70 kilometres east of Armidale and 45 kilometres south-west of Coffs Harbour.

    Submissions are invited until Monday 28 August 2017.

  • Mallee Cliffs National Park Draft Plan of Management

    The NSW Office of Environment & Heritage is calling for public submissions on a Draft Plan of Management for Mallee Cliffs National Park. The Park is located in the south-west corner of New South Wales, 20 kilometres north-east of Buronga.

    The plan adopts a new format, with a ‘formal’ plan supported by a document that details park values (such as threatened species and cultural heritage) and the threats to these values.

    Submissions are invited until Monday 28 August 2017.

  • Royal National Park, Heathcote National Park and Garawarra State Conservation Area

    The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is calling for public submissions on discussion papers for the development of a new plan of management for the Royal National Park, Heathcote National Park and Garawarra State Conservation Area.

    The discussion papers relate to themes such as recreational activities, visitor destinations, Aboriginal cultural heritage and landscapes, mountain biking, commercial activities and protecting park values.

    Submissions are invited until Monday 28 August 2017.

  • Wilton Interim Land Use and Infrastructure Implementation Plan

    The Department of Planning & Environment is seeking public comment on its Interim Land Use and Infrastructure Implementation Plan.

    The plan aims to guide the growth of a new town of around 15,000 homes at Wilton. New and upgraded infrastructure will support the growing community, and residents will have access to jobs, schools, shops and other essential services. The Plan also identifies sensitive environmental areas that will be protected as the community grows.

    Submissions are now invited until Wednesday 20 September 2017.

  • Planning for a new Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park plan of management

    Before drafting a new plan of management for Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and the National Parks and Wildlife Service are inviting community input on a number of important issues.

    The issues will be outlined in a number of discussion papers, and the agencies are calling for anyone interested to register to receive notification when the discussion papers are ready.

    Registrations are invited until Friday 8 December 2017.
