Proposed rock groyne at The Entance
The NSW Department of Industry is seeking public comment on a rock groyne, a coastal structure, to be built on South Entrance Beach south of the Surf Life Saving Club tower. Comments can be made on an on-line forum created for the topic.
The construction will cause some disruption to beach access. The groyne will be 100 metres long once completed, and will extend over the beach and into the surf zone.
Submissions are invited until 3 October 2016.
