Consultation: Inquiry into regulation of Australian agricultural sector

The Productivity Commission is undertaking a public inquiry into ‘the regulatory burden on farm businesses’. The inquiry will focus on regulations that have a material impact on the competitiveness and productivity of Australian agriculture. Under its terms of reference, the Commission will be considering how environmental protection and native vegetation laws impact on agricultural productivity.
