EPBC Referral: Ripley, QLD – Mixed residential and retail/commercial development
The proposed action comprises a mix of residential and retail/commercial development within Ripley Valley, South East Queensland, located at 84-122 Binnies Road, Ripley.
The subject site forms part of land designated by Economic Development Queensland as a Priority Development Area (PDA) as an area suitable to prioritise future residential development to meet the region's affordable housing needs. The subject site covers 26.81 ha, of which approximately 11 ha have previously been cleared of native vegetation for two power easements, residential dwellings, dams and horse-feeding areas.
