The national, and State and local governments provide continuing opportunities to be involved in the laws designed to protect the environment.
- There are opportunities for landholders to protect native plants and animals on their land through private land conservation initiatives. Landolders may be able to enter into an agreement with the NSW or Australian Government or a non-government organisation for the purpose of protecting and conserving the biodiversity on their land.
