  • Wilderness horse riding trial

    Horse riding was trialled in four national parks between April 2014 and April 2016. Amendments have now been proposed to permanently allow horse riding in wilderness areas.

    The proposed amendments to the Plans of Management are available for public comment by 7 August 2018.

  • Goonoowigall, Barayamal & Nullamanna Draft Plans of Management

    The Office of Environment & Heritage is seeking feedback on the Draft Plan of Management for Goonoowigall State Conservation Area, Barayamal and Nullamanna National Parks.
    The draft plan will replace the Statement of Management Intent for Goonoowigall State Conservation Area, Barayamal and Nullamanna National Parks.
    Closing date for comments is 27 August 2018.
