Proposed Amendments to State Environmental Planning Policy No. 55 – Remediation of Land

The NSW Department of Planning and Environment is seeking feedback on proposed amendments to SEPP 55. SEPP 55 is the environmental planning instrument that sets out the Statewide planning approach to the remediation of contaminated land.
The proposed amendments are site specific and solely relate to the former Cockle Creek smelter and Incitec site at Boolaroo, Lake Macquarie.
Submissions close at 5pm on 31 July 2018.
