EDO NSW Climate Litigation Forum, Sydney Marjan Minnesma, Director of Urgenda Foundation, spoke about Urgenda's landmark climate litigation in the Dutch Courts which ordered the Dutch Government to adopt more stringent climate policies, as well as Urgenda’s work to transition to a renewable economy. The Hon. Justice Brian Preston, Chief Judge of the NSW Land and Environment Court provided an overview of climate litigation around the world. |
