On Threatened Species Day 2018, here are just some of the fauna species that have been the subject of litigation and legal advice work by EDOs across Australia 



  • Koala (Phascolarctos Cinereus)
  • Regent honeyeater (Anthochaera Phrygia)
  • Black throated finch (Poephila Cincta Cincta)
  • Southern blue fin tuna (Thunnus maccoyii)
  • Yakka skink (Egernia rugosa) and ornamental snake (Denisonia maculata)
  • Grey headed flying foxes (Pteropus Poliocephalus)
  • Rose crowned fruit dove (Ptilinopus Regina)
  • Swift parrot (Lathamus discolor)
  • Greater long-eared bat (Nyctophilus Corbeni)
  • Giant barred frog (Mixophyes Iteratus)
  • Spectacled flying foxes (Pteropus Conspicillatus)
